SW17 · MORDEN-BASED, COVERING TOOTING
Removals in Tooting, from a team that knows the terraces.
BM Removals, trading as House Removals London, is based in Morden and covers Tooting every week — Tooting Bec, Tooting Broadway and everywhere between.
LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Some of the densest streets we cover
Tooting is almost entirely Victorian terraces — long rows of bay-fronted houses, a lot of them split into flats, running back from the two High Streets. It’s some of the densest housing we cover, which means narrower properties and more shared entrances than a place like Morden or Sutton.
On-street parking is tight almost everywhere in Tooting, and a lot of it’s permit-controlled, so we sort parking suspensions ahead of time rather than hoping for a space on the day. Houses converted into flats also mean more stairs and narrower hallways — we plan for that rather than finding out when we arrive.
Most of our Tooting moves are into or out of converted flats near Tooting Bec or Tooting Broadway station, or young families moving out towards Mitcham and Colliers Wood once they need more space than a Victorian conversion gives them.
Two Northern line stations, Tooting Bec Common and Lido, and a High Street that never really quiets down — that’s the Tooting we work in every week, not just drive through.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you cover Tooting?
Yes — the dense Victorian terraces and converted flats from Tooting Bec down to Broadway, where parking is the whole job. Call us and we’ll confirm availability for your date.
How much does a house move cost?
It depends on the size of your property and how much you’re moving — the number of items matters as much as the number of bedrooms. We give you a written quotation before anything is booked, so you know the price up front rather than finding out on the day.
How do you work out the price?
Either a physical survey at your property, or you send us a video walkthrough by WhatsApp or email — whichever suits you. The video option means you don’t have to be in for an appointment, and it’s usually quicker.
How much notice do you need?
Around five days is usual. If your move is more urgent than that, it’s still worth calling — we’ll tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully. Goods in transit cover for your belongings while they’re with us, and public liability cover for the work itself.
Do you do the packing?
We can. Packing and storage are priced separately from the move itself, so you only pay for what you need — some customers pack themselves and just want the move, others want everything handled.
Do you take a deposit?
Once the price is agreed we take 20%, and the balance is settled around the move.
What if my moving date changes?
It happens constantly with chains, and you don’t lose your deposit. We re-point the job to your new date.
